I just got the email and the 24 HOA is upon us!  Is anyone interested?

Try and confirm your attendance by the 20th.

-I’m thinking we should do a 2-lap format this time.
-You have over a month to bust your ass into shape.
-This is good training for you Fontana DH people.

Prices are as follows for a camping 5-man team:

5-Person Open Age Team      $575   (NOTE:  a 6-10 person team is $1000, adjust accordingly)
Insurance                            $35
Beneficiary Contrib               $25
Processing Fee                     $15.75
Camp Site                           $40

Total :                                     $690.75 / 5 =   $138.15 per person

So I asked the 24HOA about doing the event w/o a volunteer and here is the response:

Trust you had a good time at Laguna Seca (edit: we did Hurkey). Volunteers as you know are the lifeline of our event, without them we can’t host an event period.

Teams for time to time are in your situation and we still ask for a volunteer, however if you speak with the volunteer coordinator early on Friday night they can set you up in the transition area and all the team riders can split the four hours up. Make sense.
